Our Values

ANIMA A.C. fosters spaces for learning, dialogue, and critical thinking. Our community—including program participants, volunteers, staff, and online users—is built on mutual respect, intellectual curiosity, and a commitment to positive social impact.

Expected Behavior

We expect all community members to:

  • Treat others with dignity and respect, regardless of background, beliefs, or identity
  • Engage in constructive dialogue, even when disagreeing
  • Foster an inclusive environment where all voices can be heard
  • Respect the physical and digital spaces where our programs operate

Prohibited Conduct

The following behaviors are strictly prohibited in any ANIMA A.C. space (physical or digital):

  • Harassment, bullying, or intimidation
  • Hate speech or discrimination based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or other protected characteristics
  • Disruptive behavior that prevents others from participating in programs
  • Violence, threats of violence, or encouraging self-harm
  • Illegal activities or the promotion thereof
  • Spam, unauthorized advertising, or soliciting

Content Standards

When participating in our digital forums or submitting content to ANIMA programs, your contributions must be relevant and must not violate intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or these Community Guidelines.

Enforcement

ANIMA A.C. reserves the right to enforce these guidelines at its discretion. Violations may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent expulsion from our programs and digital spaces without refund.

Reporting

If you experience or witness a violation of these guidelines, please report it immediately to an ANIMA staff member or via email.
