1. Introduction

Inferent respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and applicable international copyright laws, we will respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the requirements described below.

2. Reporting Infringement

If you believe that content on our platforms infringes your copyright, please submit a written notice to our designated copyright agent containing the following:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
  3. Identification of the infringing material and its location on our Services (URL or other description sufficient to allow us to locate it)
  4. Your contact information (name, address, phone number, and email)
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf

3. Counter-Notice Procedure

If you believe your content was removed due to a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice containing:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature
  2. Identification of the material removed and where it appeared before removal
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
  4. Your name, address, phone number, and consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant and may restore the removed material after 10–14 business days unless the complainant seeks a court order.

4. Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA and our own policies, Inferent will terminate the accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers of copyright in appropriate circumstances.
