Donation Policy
How Donations Are Used
ANIMA A.C. ensures that your contributions directly support our mission. Funds are allocated across our core programs (Ágora, Sophia, and Tecne) and essential operational costs. We strive to maintain administrative expenses below 15% of our total budget.
Tax Deductibility (Mexico)
ANIMA A.C. is an authorized donee (Donataria Autorizada) under Mexican tax law. Donations made by Mexican residents and corporations are generally tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. A CFDI (tax receipt) will be issued upon request with the provision of your RFC and fiscal data within the same month of the donation.
Recurring Donations
If you set up a recurring donation, your payment method will be charged automatically at the specified interval. You can modify or cancel your recurring donation at any time through our portal or by contacting us. Cancellations must be made at least 3 days before the next billing cycle.
Refunds
Donations are generally non-refundable. However, if a donation is made in error or for an incorrect amount, please contact us within 14 days. Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and, if approved, will be processed back to the original payment method.
Restricted vs. Unrestricted Gifts
We prefer unrestricted gifts as they allow us to direct funds where they are most needed. If you wish to make a restricted gift for a specific program, please contact our development office prior to making the donation to ensure we can fulfill your intent.
Reporting & Transparency
We are committed to transparency. ANIMA A.C. publishes an annual report detailing our financial health, programmatic impact, and administrative costs. Audited financial statements are available upon request.
