Student Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
Inclick is committed to protecting the privacy and security of student data. This Student Privacy Policy describes our practices for collecting, using, and safeguarding information from students who use the Inclick platform. This policy supplements our general Privacy Policy.
We understand that student data is sensitive. We treat it with the highest level of care and comply with applicable education privacy laws, including FERPA and COPPA.
2. Data Collected from Students
Inclick collects only data necessary to provide educational services:
- Account information: Name, email (or school ID), grade level
- Learning data: Course progress, assessment results, AI tutor interactions
- Usage data: Features accessed, session duration, time on platform
- Content: Assignments, submissions, and messages on the platform
We do not collect biometric data, precise geolocation, or any data not necessary for educational purposes.
3. FERPA Compliance
When Inclick is deployed by a school or educational institution, student records collected through Inclick are treated as "education records" under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Inclick acts as a "school official" with a legitimate educational interest, operating under the direction of the school.
We do not disclose education records to third parties without the school's consent, except as permitted by FERPA (e.g., to comply with a judicial order).
4. COPPA Compliance
For students under the age of 13, Inclick complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We collect personal information from children under 13 only with verifiable parental consent or through school authorization under a valid school agreement.
We do not use data from children under 13 for behavioral advertising. We do not allow children under 13 to make their information publicly available on the platform.
5. How We Use Student Data
Student data is used exclusively for educational purposes:
- Delivering personalized learning experiences
- Providing progress reports to students, parents, and teachers
- Improving the accuracy and effectiveness of our AI tutoring features
- Platform safety and security
We never: sell student data, use it for targeted advertising, share it for commercial profiling, or use it to build marketing profiles.
6. No Advertising to Students
Inclick does not display third-party advertising to students. We do not allow third parties to use student data for advertising purposes. The learning experience on Inclick is free from commercial advertising.
7. Parental Rights
Parents and guardians have the right to:
- Review the personal information we hold about their child
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of their child's account and data
- Refuse or withdraw consent for data collection

8. School Rights
Schools that deploy Inclick may access aggregated and individual student data through the administrator dashboard. Schools may request export or deletion of student data at any time. Upon termination of a school agreement, student data will be deleted within 60 days unless otherwise requested.
9. Data Deletion
Students (or their parents/guardians) may request deletion of their account and associated data at any time. Data will be deleted within 30 days of the request, subject to any retention required by law or legitimate educational record-keeping obligations.
