Inclick believes that technology, including AI, should enhance learning—not circumvent it. This Academic Integrity Policy outlines how students and teachers should use Inclick's AI-powered features in ways that support genuine educational growth and uphold the integrity of academic work.

This policy is designed to complement, not replace, your institution's academic integrity rules. When in doubt, defer to your school's policies.

2. What Is Academic Dishonesty

Academic dishonesty includes, but is not limited to:

  • Plagiarism: Presenting another's work as your own without proper attribution
  • Fabrication: Inventing or falsifying data, sources, or results
  • Cheating: Using unauthorized aids on assessments
  • Collusion: Unauthorized collaboration that misrepresents the work as one's own
  • Misrepresentation: Submitting AI-generated content as original human work when expressly prohibited

3. AI-Assisted Learning vs. AI-Generated Submissions

There is an important distinction between using AI as a learning tool and using AI to bypass the learning process entirely.

Appropriate use of AI includes:

  • Asking the AI Tutor to explain a concept you don't understand
  • Using AI to check your work after you've attempted it independently
  • Getting feedback on a draft you have written
  • Exploring different approaches to solving a problem

Potentially inappropriate use includes:

  • Asking the AI to write an essay or complete an assignment for you to submit as your own
  • Using AI to generate answers during a closed-book assessment
  • Submitting AI-generated content without disclosure when your course prohibits it

Always check with your teacher or institution regarding their specific AI use policies for each assignment.

4. Student Responsibilities

  • Understand and follow your institution's academic integrity rules
  • Use the AI Tutor as a learning aid, not as a shortcut
  • Disclose AI assistance when required by your teacher or institution
  • Take ownership of your own learning and academic work

5. Teacher Responsibilities

  • Communicate clear expectations for AI use on each assignment
  • Design assessments that encourage authentic student engagement
  • Use Inclick's reporting tools to monitor usage patterns when appropriate
  • Report suspected violations through the platform's reporting mechanism

6. Consequences

Violations of this policy may result in actions taken by your institution in accordance with their policies. Inclick may also take platform-level action, including suspension of AI features or account review, in cases of severe or repeated violations.

Inclick does not impose academic penalties—those remain the responsibility of the educational institution.

7. Reporting

Teachers and administrators may report suspected academic integrity violations through the Inclick platform or by contacting support. We take all reports seriously and will cooperate with institution-level investigations.
