Volunteer Agreement — ANIMA A.C.

Introduction

Volunteers are vital to the mission of ANIMA A.C. This agreement outlines the expectations, rights, and responsibilities for individuals volunteering their time and expertise with our organization.

Volunteer Roles & Responsibilities

Volunteers may serve in various capacities, including program facilitation, event support, or administrative assistance. Volunteers agree to:

Perform assigned tasks to the best of their abilities
Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and provide adequate notice of absence
Follow the directions of ANIMA A.C. staff coordinators
Represent the organization positively in the community

Code of Conduct

All volunteers must adhere to our Community Guidelines. Discrimination, harassment, or inappropriate behavior towards staff, beneficiaries, or other volunteers will not be tolerated and will result in immediate dismissal.

Confidentiality

During your service, you may have access to confidential information regarding our beneficiaries, donors, or operations. Volunteers agree to keep all such information strictly confidential and not disclose it to third parties without express written permission from ANIMA A.C.

No Compensation

The volunteer understands that they are offering their services freely and without expectation of financial compensation, wages, or benefits. This relationship does not constitute an employment contract under Mexican labor law (Ley Federal del Trabajo).

Liability Waiver

While ANIMA A.C. strives to provide a safe environment, the volunteer assumes all risks associated with their volunteer activities. The volunteer releases ANIMA A.C., its officers, directors, and employees from any liability for personal injury or property damage incurred during volunteer service.

Termination

Either the volunteer or ANIMA A.C. may terminate this volunteer relationship at any time, for any reason, with or without notice.
